Transform is the first metrics store for your data. We know that trust is key to centralizing metrics and we also believe that trust is an essential part of choosing the tools in your data stack. That’s why we are excited to announce that Transform has successfully completed a System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II certification. The audit was performed by the business advisory firm Sensiba San Filippo, LLP (SSF).

Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 information security standard is an audit report on the examination of controls relevant to the trust services criteria categories covering:

  • Security
  • Availability
  • Processing integrity
  • Confidentiality
  • Privacy

What is SOC 2 Type II certification?

After an independent audit into Transform’s risk and security posture, vendor management, internal controls governance, regulatory oversight, and more, this certification shows Transform’s commitment to safeguarding customer data.

A SOC 2 Type II report describes a service organization's systems and whether the design of specified controls meets the relevant trust services categories and assesses the effectiveness of those controls over a specified period of time.

What does SOC 2 compliance mean for our customers?

Transform is integrated within your data stack. It contains business logic for defining metrics and key performance indicators that stakeholders use to make decisions. It also contains metric metadata used for governance and insights. This is often privileged information in an organization.

The completion of our SOC 2 Type II compliance certification provides our customers with the assurance that we have the right processes, infrastructure, and tools in place to protect your information from unauthorized access.

This is one important step on our way to becoming your go-to source of metrics knowledge and a critical piece of the modern data stack.
